There are plenty of opportunities for people to learn how to use computers or other I.T and a lot of this work can now be done from home with broadband and I.T equipment becoming readily available in peoples homes. With computing becoming a large part of many jobs through out the UK now it can widen your career options greatly to have knowledge in the I.T sector.

Keyboard A-Z
The keyboard A-Z course (or KAZ for short) is a great course for people with a basic grasp of IT who wish to improve their typing speed. This is a great course for those in an I.T career that either wish to improve their skills or wish to gain speed in their typing ability to perhaps further their career or simply improve their skill set in their current job.
Spreadsheets Through IT for Life
This course is suitable for people with some experience of computers and follows on well from the IT for Life Using your Computer course. Spreadsheets are used in many I.T careers so it can be useful to know how to use them if you are in a career in I.T, plus if you know how to use spreadsheets it can create more possibilities career wise.
The spreadsheet training course starts right from the beginning on how to use spreadsheet software, how to creat a spreadsheet from scratch and on to compiling detailed spreadsheets with serveral lots of information being displayed.
The course shows you how to complete tasks step by step with practical examples to complete as you progress. Starting with entering text and numbers you'll eventually progress to using formulas and finding out how to present and analyse your work.
IT for Work Databases - Level One
Databases hold large amounts of data which can be processed, implemented and presented in a variety of ways. This course is designed to help users with a moderate level of experience with computers learn how to use databases.
The course helps you to learn how databases work by following practical examples taken from IT professionals' daily work. Starting with the basics users will learn how build a new database, use tables and forms to compile data and gradually move on to adding data, editing and presenting the results as reports.
