There are of course certain requirements that you would need to have to be successful in this sector of work some of these qualities would include confidence, good telephone manner and helpful nature. Any one wanting to do this job at home should have sufficient knowledge on the products to answer any questions raised by the customer, otherwise there would be no sense in them having to ring another person to get information about issues the customers may have.

For example if a person were to work from home for an IT company a they would need to have enough knowledge in the subject to support and help with the customer’s technical queries. The type of work in which you would have to specialise would vary from company to company but of course you would have to have certain qualifications or skills to work at home, these would be decided by the employer when looking for a suitable candidate.
